Tarrsille has the Winning Habit Now
Tarrsille, having found the winning habit at Dundalk last time, losing his maiden status at the tenth attempt, followed up again with a front running effort under Emmett McNamara in the Ballybin Handicap. Wed 03rd Jun
That's my first winner here and it's a nice way to break the duck. That was a great performance from a bad draw and that's as far as he'd want it. He's a fast ground horse, he really needs it top of the ground. He's in the Royal Hunt Cup so we'll see what the handicapper does with him. I have Dandy Boy in that race too and I'm not keen on them taking on one another.
David Marnane
We plan to give him a bit of a break now as he has had a few runs in quick succession. I'm considering the Scurry Handicap at the Curragh on Derby Day and if that comes a bit soon there is the seven furlong handicap at Galway.
David P Myerscough
He was unlucky not to win a maiden at Dundalk. It's the first time we've got decent ground for him and he finished like an aeroplane. He was second in Fairyhouse last Wednesday, I think the winner is a decent horse and we decided to take our chance today as you never know how long good ground will last in this country. We will probably go for a handicap next.
