Review wexford 24th Jul
Pat Smullen was the man to follow in the Flat races on Wexford's mixed card as he landed a quick double in the opening two racesFri 24th Jul
that was my first winner of this year's Festival . we¦ve been knocking on the door a bit without getting in front. He might be claimed now but this was the ideal race for him as he likes here. We tried him over hurdles but he's not in love with hurdles but hopefully at this grade he'll pick up another one.
Eoin Doyle
I thought the line would never come. He's getting on in years and this was probably his day,. He could go back for a hurdle now. The owner (Paul Holden) is from Mullinavat in Kilkenny so he's very local.
Eoin Doyle
He has taken well to hurdles. The handicapper put him up twelve pounds for finishing second in Wexford the last day. He's a small horse and he wouldn't be able to carry big weight in handicaps so we may go back to the flat or go for a conditions hurdle. He loves fast ground and it was great to get a winner for the owner Paul, he is very loyal and has about seven horses in training with me.
Eoin Doyle
