He ran at Hamilton on Tuesday but met a wall of horses and got no run. Joe Fanning rode him and said he'd taken nothing out of himself and to run him again here.
Lee Smyth
That's his fifth win for us - four came on the all-weather and he was beginning to look a one-trick pony. We are only 10 minutes away and came over last night and walked the track. We didn't think he would be too far away. Hopefully he can go back to Dundalk in the winter and win again. He is owned by Yvonne Lowe from Doncaster.
Lee Smyth
He just hasn't fired for me this season but he's now won four for me,. We were scratching our head wondering why he hadn't won and I had told everyone to back him the last few times. It wasn't the hottest race tonight and if he wasn't able to win that we were in trouble. Daniel won on him the last time and knows him well. He's had a great start to the year. He travelled well tonight and I knew on the bend he was the winner.
Lee Smyth
He is definitely a Dundalk horse, that's for sure. He was unlucky the last day when he reared up in the stalls, I would have had my house on him that day. We wanted him loaded as late as possible today. I told Daniel that if this horse was on his game it would feel like he was on a Group One horse turning in. The seven pound claim made a lot of difference and he did everything right today.
Lee Smyth
This horse has done wonders for the yard . he's ended our drought. I had him entered in a 0 to 65 but he's a small horse and the weight he was carrying here suited better.
Lee Smyth
I think I'll quit now! I have three horses in and in fairness Tony Mullins did all the homework with this fellow. I use his gallops and I thought this horse was very fit coming here. Joseph gave him a peach of a ride and it's special as I've known him since he was a lad. The horse was gelded last November.
Paul Hennessy
