Clancy more than ready after a break
There were a few negatives but with a rating of 89, Clancy Avenue was going to be difficult enough to beat all things being equal in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Maiden. Market reference beforehand mightn't have helped much but the Henrythenavigator colt got the job done in style under Billy Lee. Fri 15th Feb
Pat gave him a great ride. He got a bit claustrophobic in the stalls. He has plenty of ability and he just couldn't handle the ground last time out at Roscommon but he ran two grand races in Dundalk. The syndicate (the GAA Legends Syndicate) are very lucky as every horse they have had has won.
