he’d a bit of a mishap at Limerick earlier this year where he got a cut and it took a while to get him back. He wouldn't go on heavy ground. He travelled better than I expected, and I told Brian not to come too soon. He did it well and I'd say they went a good gallop.

He should have won a long time ago but that's the way it goes and it's the first winner for his owner Christy Buckley, who is an auctioneer from Ballynoe.
