Philip gave him a grand spin around and you can’t beat a bit of light weight on his back. The last day he ran he nearly had top weight and he’s only a small little horse. He’s tough and might run again if the rain doesn’t come.
John J Walsh
he’d a bit of a mishap at Limerick earlier this year where he got a cut and it took a while to get him back. He wouldn't go on heavy ground. He travelled better than I expected, and I told Brian not to come too soon. He did it well and I'd say they went a good gallop.
John J Walsh
He should have won a long time ago but that's the way it goes and it's the first winner for his owner Christy Buckley, who is an auctioneer from Ballynoe. He didn't get the two and a half miles and might like nicer ground and wouldn't want it soft. He'll keep running as long as the ground doesn't turn.
John J Walsh
