I knew there could be a problem here today with the sun so I gave him a spin on the Flat at Limerick on Sunday!. He'll continue on the go over the summer and mix it between hurdles and fences. Hopefully he can win a distance hurdle.

D's Trix had a great run in the north the last day, and while he has been disappointing, is finally getting his act together. He is in the form of his life and may go to Killarney next for a handicap hurdle - he looks better than his 85 rating over hurdles. Andrew (jockey) said the ground was very fast today and said he lost his footing twice.

He had a soft palate operation in January and it worked a treat. There will be plenty of opportunities for him in the spring and summer.

The better ground helped as he struggled a bit on the heavy ground during the winter. We'll try for another one of these now and two and a half miles is his trip. He'll go chasing before the end of the summer.
A J McNamara
He'll go to Limerick at Christmas. He'll jump a fence in time and is a nice horse. He'll improve a lot as he was a backward horse,. I ran him over two miles on good ground and thought he wanted further but his last two runs over two-and-a-half in heavy ground was too far. Although I say he'd get it on good ground.
A J McNamara
