Jealika springs a surprise
Three of them traded at odds-on in the run on the betting exchanges, but in the end it was Jealika (25/1) that out-pointed Bobby Jean and Battleroftheboyne, who had both shaped as likely winners, of the #19 Punters Pack Handicap at Limerick. Thu 16th Apr
Ground is a big factor to her as she grows a leg on heavy ground. She is very tough, has a heart of gold and has to be ridden from off the pace as she loves passing horses.

The ground is the key to her and she comes into her own on it. She doesn't have the gears on quick ground but grinds it out on that ground,. She'll have a break in mid-summer and come back again later in the year.

She's bred and owned by a friend of ours Jean Bird. She's won twice now when she hasn't been there so we're going to have to ban her from coming racing!. The ground is sticky and slow but that's what she wants. She's a horse that lacks pace but stays all day.
