Oliver on the mark with Miss Velocity
Miss Velocity from the Andy Oliver stable showed admirable battling qualities after she landed the Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Package Median Auction Maiden. Fri 26th Mar
Chris said he won much easier than the last time he rode him and always travelled a bit sweeter. I don’t know where he will go next. He’s a tough old horse and would nearly drive the lorry for you!
Michael Mulvany
he is finally getting consistent in his old age!. He’s entered at Bellewstown tomorrow and might as well run; he’s tough as old boots.
Michael Mulvany
he has been knocking on the door and been running well. Five is probably a bit short for him but you have to run him. The races are scarce for him in that category.
Michael Mulvany
He's genuine even though he wears cheek-pieces. He gives his all, and when he drops to around the 70 mark he performs. The owners decided to keep him for another year but I put them off coming down here as I thought the trip was too short. Seven furlongs is his ideal trip.
Michael Mulvany
He ran yesterday at the Curragh and the owners (the Mighty Four Syndicate) were a little bit disappointed but it didn't take much out of him and we decided to come here, and he is in again at Laytown tomorrow. He'd take as much out of himself working at home, and if he is okay in the morning he will probably take his chance at Laytown.
Michael Mulvany
I didn't think he would handle the ground. He (Pat Smullen) was trying to ride him from off the pace and he came through really well. I hope the handicapper doesn't be too hard on him. He is entered in the Leopardstown on Thursday but we will see how he comes out of this first.
Michael Mulvany
He did that well and he's going the right way. Somebody must have gave him a sleeping tablet at Dundalk, we changed the tactics and it seems to have worked.
Edward Lynam
He did it very well, we've always thought a lot of the lad. It just took awhile for the penny to drop with him, he's a very nice horse.
Terry Flynn representing Edward Lynam
