Your heart would be in your mouth at the start. She had been working well but I was afraid of the ground. She done it well though and she gets a mile and a quarter. Small fields suit her well but we may run her over hurdles in an attempt to sweeten her up. That's Padraig's second winner since he lost his claim so he is off to a great start.
Patrick Martin
I think we're all relieved with that result. He's very tough and he just keeps going. Seamie gets on really well with him. The ground was plenty quick for him this evening and he'll probably have a little break now.
Patrick Martin
'She just didn't seem to be herself the last day in Cork. She was edgy in the stalls and Seamie said she never felt right. I'm not a fan of running horses on this ground but she coped with it well,'
Patrick Martin
I wasn't worried about dropping back to a mile she won over 9f the last day. She's a gutsy filly and we'll either run her over a mile or a 1m 1f. She is owned by Joey Dunne from Co Cavan and he has been a very lucky owner.
Patrick Martin
She's a typical backward filly. It was her first time on soft ground. It was a terrific ride by Seamie, he took his time and gave her every chance to get home. (EM)
