The opening Super Trooper 19th June Twilight Music Mares Maiden Hurdle saw trainer Paul Gilligan continue his rich vein of form with Lady Hillingdon, who following a recent double for the Galway yard at Southwell a fortnight ago. Sat 13th JunBlood a Diamond for Hanlon
John 'Shark' Hanlon and Emmet Mullins were unlucky when Melon Delta crashed out at the last when looking assured of victory at Thurles on Thursday but the pair bounced back with a bang when Blood Diamond bolted up by twelve lengths in the Kells Handicap Hurdle. Sat 28th Mar
It's nice to be back in the winner's enclosure and it's great to get the win out of her. I have no real plans for her. She's very tough and she just does enough when she's in front.

Lady Hillingdon really deserved that win and hopefully the handicapper wont be too harsh on her. We'll freshen her up before running again and maybe head for Galway as her owners are local lads and keen to go there.
