Conor gave him a good ride as he likes to be ridden that way - taking his time and coming down the outside. That's the first time he's been down in that grade for a long while. We put a tongue-tie on for the first time as he was just not finishing out his races.

I was delighted to get the divide as the two horses love it around here,. I thought Hujaylea was a bit more exposed so I decided to claim off him with Conor. This fellow loves to be ridden that way - passing horses. Shane said he just clipped heels early and he had to take a hold of him. He just loves fast ground. He's in the habit of winning now, he's well-bred and could progress.

He did it nicely, we had to run him. We were very lucky he got in as a reserve on Sunday and he only got in today because they divided the race. It took us two years to win a race with him and now we're after winning two races in three days. He went up ten pounds but only had 5 pounds for today. They went good and fast today so there was no problem in dropping him to 7f. We will probably come back here again unless the ground starts drying out.

He's always threatened to win one of these and any time he's got fast ground has run well,. The last day here he had a bad draw and Pat Smullen dropped him in - he just got tired in the last furlong. Shane did the right thing today by pulling him out and getting a clear run.
