Harrington records superb Gowran four-timer
Jessica Harrington had an afternoon to remember at Gowran, as she recorded her first four-timer, which came in at the odds of 3684.50/1, and was completed by her daughter Kate. Fri 04th Oct
He jumped brilliant and really saw his race out well. Robbie said the ground is very quick down the back so I'm taking Sandymount Duke out of the next,.
Mrs John Harrington
They've got to jump! He jumped great but Robbie said they went Arkle pace and he finished tired but was entitled to be. They went some rattle and I'm delighted he has won as he deserved it. He'll probably go to Leopardstown over Christmas and is in the Grade 1 two mile chase. With that under his belt he should improve a lot.
Mrs John Harrington
He's only a four-year-old and is going to improve. He's a chaser really,.
Mrs John Harrington
What a day! I think it must be my first ever four-timer, I've had trebles, but I can't remember any four-timers. I've always loved this horse and I wanted to run him in the spring. Kate gave him a great ride, I thought he was going to finish second, but he kept gaining and gaining. That is David Bobbit's first winner in his colours, he is from Dublin.
Mrs John Harrington
