It didn't appear the greatest of contests. It was hard work as they went off at a good pace and he struggled to lie up. He's no flying machine! They came back to him.

It's always nice to get one at a Festival like this. With a good run we thought he might be placed. I thought all chance had gone when he crashed into a horse. He is best fresh and loves a bit of good ground. It's unfortunate for poor Phillip Enright who got a horrible fall. I made the phonecall (to book Davy Russell) and it worked out well.

We like him. He ran in point-to-point's but he was disappointing. His full-brother (Forever Gold) won at Roscommon for me last week. I couldn't get anything out of him last year, and I would have let him go for very little. Once the better ground came around in the spring he started improving. Hopefully he will put together a few wins now.
