Still it's nice when a horse falls to see them come back and jump well and he jumped super today. he's a summer horse really and all his best form is on good ground. Emmet (Mullins) usually rides him but he's away in Australia with Simenon. Simenon runs on Saturday in a prep run for the Melbourne Cup and his weight is spot on at present and Emmet said he's in as good form as he has ever been.

I kept wide as there seems to be the best ground out there. I went on the inside in the first race and Andrew McNamara kept on the outside and won. He had loads left at the finish. Last time out he just couldn't handle the heavier, gluey ground.

His jumping has improved and he got a great ride there from Emmet. He's a very under-rated and under-used rider. He didn't hang around and those tactics paid off. He'll probably stick to that trip and he's a summer horse so we'll make hay when conditions are right.

Patrick is getting back to full fitness again from his holiday and it was a good strong ride to push him out to the line - it's his third winner since coming back. Passage Vendome has been disappointing in his two runs so far as he has been showing plenty at home. We've no immediate plans from here but he'll probably go jumping.
