Sam Causes a Shock
He cost 230,000 Euro at Tattersalls Ireland in June 2006, he is a half-brother to Snoopy Loopy from a real good family, he came down when up with the gallop on his only point-to-point start but despite having this to recommend him on paper, Sam Adams was dispatched a 50/1 shot for the www.fairyhouseracecourse.ie Maiden Hurdle. Fri 13th Feb
I was a bit worried that the trip was too short but his jumping was brilliant. This time last year I didn't think it would take him this long to win a beginners' chase though!
Paul Nolan
that was a good performance and he'll go to Punchestown next. He may step up in trip and better ground should suit.
Paul Nolan
He has had his problems; he has been through the mill. He was brought down in a point-to-point with a circuit to run and has had bits of trouble since, but he is sound as a trout lately. He has been working better at home, and being by Presenting he'll be better on better ground. He is very well bred being a half-brother to Snoopy Loopy. (EM)
Paul Nolan
