Wade makes winning start at Curragh
Wade Giles came with a storming run in the final furlong to make a winning debut in the opening Sycamore Lodge Equine Hospital Maiden at the Curragh this evening. Fri 25th Jun
He's a nice horse and it was a very important win for a new client of mine Pearl Bloodstock. The programme in Ireland is not great for a horse like this but we needed a match and he did it well. There's a Listed Race in Cork and it may come too soon for him but hopefully there's many more wins to come.

It takes a good horse to win here,. He's a lovely horse and I pulled him out here last time because of the fast ground. Not to say he wouldn't have handled it but I wanted to give him a nice introduction. To win is a bonus as you never know what you could bump into here. Eugene (McDermott) is a wonderful client and I think I've won with everything he's sent me. This lad has a big future hopefully.
