Whisper takes opener for McCreery
The opening three year old hurdle at Killarney this evening was claimed by the Willie McCreery trained Whisper Cool in the hands of Barry Cash. Thu 19th Aug
With the top two weights coming out he got in here perfectly. He's tough and did it well,. He'll go back for a winners hurdle now on October 2nd at Gowran. I wanted to give him a Flat run in between and thought here wouldn't be too hard on him as he wants nice ground.

I'm delighted with that, we bought him out of Ger Lyons and Ger said he was a decent horse. He did it well, he ran in snatches. He has some good form on the flat and he hasn't been over-exposed. He'll be a dual purpose horse and we won't be over hard on him as he's a light framed horse.
