Zorija wins for Stack/Lee
Trainer Tommy Stack recorded his seventh success of the new Flat season, when his Zorija Rose, under Billy Lee, ran out the game length winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at Gowran today. Sun 03rd May
That's unbelievable. We should run a few more here!. That's probably her now. She's won the Lincoln last year and won here. She loves the ground. I don't know what's next for her. That was her Derby. I was quite pally with John Mulhern and I think he must be looking down on us. That's the only explanation I have. The two-year-old was doing plenty and she was mad fit. The only one I thought might need the run was Zorija Rose and she won the easiest!

She went a bit sore behind last year and we had to pull up with her,. We were looking forward to dropping her back in trip as she got faster as she went along last year. She's back now and did it well. I thought she might be a bit tapped for toe early but she had no problem dictating in front. She loves soft ground and we'll keep her going. We'll try and get a bit of black type for her and I saw a six-and-a-half furlong Listed race in Germany for her. We'll pick and choose with her as she's fairly exposed being a five-year-old and rated 91.

Zorija Rose loves that heavy ground and ground will dictate where she runs next.
