Medermit & Karabak Punchestown possibles

Alan King could take both Medermit and Karabak to Punchestown next month.

The former picked up an injury when finishing seventh behind Binocular in the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.

""I thought he was going to run a huge race at Cheltenham but he came back very sore. He pulled all the muscles in his back, he's a lot better now and may go to Punchestown," the trainer told Racing UK.

Karabak battled on to finish fourth behind Big Buck's in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle last week.

""He hit a flat spot down the hill at Cheltenham and I think he's a bit better than that. We'll give him a break and then maybe go to Punchestown," the trainer added.
