The going ahead of this afternoon's second day of the Punchestown Festival has eased slightly since declaration time.

Following 9mm of rain since Tuesday morning the going is now described as Yielding on the Hurdle, Chase and Bumper tracks.

The going remains Good to Firm (Firm in places) on the Cross Country course.

The weather is to remain showery throughout the remainder of the week with heavy spells of rain at times.

There is fresh ground for each day of the Festival.
