He had a lovely run with Wayne (Lordan) the first day in Leopardstown, when he just got squeezed a bit late on. If you come here with a run under your belt it’s a fair help on this track. With normal improvement we thought he’d be hard to beat but he was still fairly green. Jack made it on him and when the second horse came to him it helped him, he found plenty for pressure. He’s a lovely type of colt and he’ll have no problem stepping up into stakes company. He’ll probably go to Naas next for the Pat Smullen listed race. If he doesn’t go there he could be one for the Tyros Stakes. Jack said he’d probably be better going up to a mile. He’s a horse that finds plenty for pressure and once he puts it together he’ll be a nice horse for the back end.

In fairness, he has run well in a couple of maidens before today. Jack gave him a peach of a ride. He let him at it from the word go and set a solid, even, tempo. He got them at it, really, from halfway. When the second horse came to him, he picked up and went again. This is probably his trip, but he’s in the Ulster Derby in a couple of weeks time and it might be worth a crack at that. We’ll see what way the race in Down Royal cuts up, and he might be worth a go at it. If not we’ll find a mile-and-a-quarter handicap for him.

We were thinking of whether he'd be a Vase horse or whatever, so it's possible he could be,. We didn't know how far he'd stay. A-mile-and-a-quarter is as far as he's gone. He could be a Vase horse; could be a King Edward horse. Ryan was very happy with him. His form is solid and it was nice to see him running well anyway (given his form with Derby horses).

I’m not so sure how hard a decision it was for Ryan this time as True Love is two from two already this year.

He’s won at the Curragh before so that’s no problem but I don’t know if you could say it should suit him any better than Newmarket as they are both lovely tracks.

She really stepped forward today and Wayne gave her a beautiful ride. In Newmarket, Ryan was on the 'wrong' side and when he made his move, she got tired, needed the run and Ryan looked after her in the last half-furlong. Roger (Quinlan), who rides her every day, said this morning that she was a different filly than the one going to Newmarket. Wayne gave her a beautiful ride and we're over the moon. We were talking on the way to the races and Annemarie (wife) said how much stamina is in the pedigree and she is out of a really good and genuine Galileo-mare. Obviously the lads (Coolmore syndicate) will make the decision regarding running in the English Oaks so we'll say how she comes out of today. There is a good chance she'll run and Ryan (Moore) felt today that she was running, to go to the Oaks. It is a very exciting and she has an incredible pedigree. It is very difficult on Ryan and we discussed riding arrangements before declaration time. It was very hard for him not to ride True Love and while he didn't ride her in Newmarket because we weren't sure she would get a mile, but she did. Precise was only beaten five lengths at Newmarket, which isn't that much for this type of filly but she is a serious one and is as good as we've had. It looks like she will have no problem going further.

She had a lovely run the first day. We got her out the first day in case she was an Ascot filly and ran so well that that is why she is back here. She could be an Albany filly if she knows enough, but Ryan said she is still very green between the two and the one (furlong markers) but then she started to go again after that. We have Neolithic, who is a fair horse as well by the same stallion and this is a big rangy filly who will definitely improve plenty as she goes.

We pitched him into a deep piece of work the last day at home, which he got a bit lost in, so we weren’t sure if there was a reason but there wasn’t. He came out of the work very well and fresh but we weren’t sure about today. Ryan said he was very green in the stalls and that he missed the break, so gave him a chance in the first part of the race. He said he flew home, but that he had to get hold of him and to teach him. He is obviously very high-class and should get seven (furlongs). If he comes out of this OK, we could let him go to the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot and you would have to be very happy with him. Wayne (Lordan, on Carry The Flag) let his horse roll along and his horse will be very happy going back to five (furlongs).

We knew he’d stay very well. I left the cheekpieces off him today, when he was going up to a mile-and-a-quarter, and he is very lazy. He (Moore) was very happy with him. We always thought as he went up (in trip) he would get better. He’s a lovely, honest-to-God, horse. Ryan gave him a lovely straightforward, uncomplicated, ride.

He’s a lovely uncomplicated horse and Ryan gave him a beautiful ride. He’s very straightforward and genuine. All the team around him do a great job, there are so many people involved with him and thanks to them. Obviously, he was in Coolmore as well from the time he was a foal. He’s a lovely horse and we always thought that he would end up even getting a bit further than a mile. Ryan was very happy today, he said he was a little bit lazy through the middle of the race but when he got him opened up he went to the line very well. We’re delighted. He got beat in three Group One's last year and we felt that he was a little bit unlucky in the three. We were delighted that he held on to go to America, and he won his Group One. Sometimes when that happens horses don’t get it back, but we felt there were circumstances every day he got beat. He’s very straightforward, he just needs a little bit of room to get going. Sometimes if it gets too tactical or if he gets caught up in pace that wasn’t strong early (it doesn't suit). He’s probably stronger now and the Curragh was lovely. Ryan was drawn wide, and you’d say that would be a disadvantage to some horses, but it was lovely for him because he was going to get a clear run and the pace was nice. Ryan said the best feel he ever gave him was when he won the Coventry, so you’d hope that he’d be very happy to go back to Ascot. The horse we ran in the French Guineas (Puerto Ri

We’re delighted with him, he hadn’t done an awful lot of work. He only stepped into main work in the last two weeks and he did a nice piece of work last Saturday. We knew he’d be very green and there is probably a lot to come from him. It was a nice introduction for him. All the horses that we are trying to get out now could be Ascot horses, but some of them will be too green and you’ll know when you run them if they won’t make it. I’m not sure with him. We ran him because we thought he could be a Coventry horse, Ryan wasn’t sure if he was going to know enough in time. Ryan said he’ll have no problem going seven. I’d imagine he’ll stick to six for the moment. He could improve so much. The horse that Jack (Cleary) rode (fourth-placed South Dakota) could be a Chesham horse, but we’ll see what will happen after his run.

He obviously had a lovely run the first day on very different ground. Coming here, we hoped he'd win and, in fairness, he got the job done. . Wayne felt just on the quicker ground, it's probably the quickest ground he's ever been on even at home, he just couldn't get fully traction, he's just rolling around. When the other filly came on his outside it really helped him. He'll put himself in the Ascot mix now and, we'll see how he progresses and, where he fits in. Jack's filly (Cleary, on Sun Goddess) is a lovely filly too. We'll try and get one more run into her and, hopefully she turns into an Ascot filly too.

The reason for running him today was to give us the option of the Derby by running him at Chester, obviously the lads will have a good chat with Ryan and see what they are all thinking.
