Down Royal Fri, 4th Sep, 2026  Dancing Steve I thought Andy (Oliver) had it stolen (with Connecteo), I was standing watching it with him,. We were drawn wide and I did tell Sam to drop this one in, he just about gets the trip, but he needs to be put asleep very early on. He did exactly what he was told. I told him he better bring me to the party if he wins it (apprentice title)!. In all fairness to him, he is a very good kid, and it was a very good ride. I had the option of going to Navan tomorrow, and then I saw this race was splitting and I thought we would chance here. In all fairness, it was a good decision. It was going to end up being less competitive here than a 23/24 runner race around Navan. That's the way you have got to work these horses - you've got to try and give them the best chance to get a win.

Navan Wed, 2nd Sep, 2026  Land Of The Giants I’m delighted as he belongs to my yard sponsor James O’Sullivan who is a great supporter of mine, as was his dad Bart before him. Bart started me off and introduced me to the Dooleys (owners). It means a lot to have this winner. Adam was good on him, he got a lovely ‘possy’, so I couldn’t complain. He was back down in that grade having been running in 0-70s, and sometimes coming back is easier for them. He’ll definitely go to Laytown now for something.

Roscommon Mon, 31st Aug, 2026  Goal Exceeded It was a great ride. He’s a tricky enough customer, but has loads to ability,. I thought he was very good him because he jumped smart and was too keen. In fairness to Adam, it was ballsy the way he took him back and buried him. If he had got beat they would have called him everything, but it’s the only way to ride this fella. You just need to produce him right on the line, and he did that. He just loves passing horses. I couldn’t fault him, it was a great ride. Fair play to the boys (Breen and Martin White and Declan Sheridan), they are good supporters of mine.

Dundalk Sat, 15th Aug, 2026  Dark Ace Probably shouldn't have brought him to Galway. We all wanted to go and we all love Galway, but it wasn't his trip and I said to the lads we are turning a sprinter into a seven-furlong horse. The last day in the Curragh, the ground was very quick that day and he didn't seem to handle it, but he's a fair horse. He's as good a sprinter as I've had in a long, long time. He's very fast. He's in the Ayr Gold Cup, but he's in the Bold Lad (Curragh) as well. We'll see, it will be either one. There will be loads of opportunities for him after that. I'm delighted to have him and I'm lucky to have him. He was very unlucky over five (furlongs) up the Curragh on Derby weekend. I'll just wipe off the last day. He should have won in Newbury. He's well able to hold his own. We were toying with coming here today or going to Ripon for a hundred grand race. Probably the way he won there, he wouldn't have been too far away (in Ripon). I'm delighted we stayed here for the lads.

Wed, 12th Aug, 2026  She's Ideal She came out of a claimer for five grand a couple of weeks ago. We done a few bits and pieces with her, but she is what she is. She had top weight, but the form was sort of solid with the other filly winning today. We claimed her in Ballinrobe after she beat my other filly (Minaun View). It's not too often you give five grand for one and they win so quick,. She'll probably go into something similar. I thought she was stuffed at the bottom, but she stuck it out well. She has plenty of ability. This time of the year with them fillies, when they come into themselves you never know what they'll do.

Gowran Park Wed, 12th Aug, 2026  Minaun View She loves these claimers. In her grade, she's able to hold her own in them. She gets the weight off the horses that are in not to be claimed, so that's a big help. She's there to be claimed. The lads are from the North. We'll probably try and claim her back, anyhow, and we'll see what happens. She's as solid as anything. We ran her in Galway but she was a bit out of her comfort zone, drawn wide. In Galway, when you are drawn wide and you have to go hard, it doesn't really suit.
