Rebel Ascendant
He’s a classy horse, it’s rare one of mine will win first time out,. I’m probably known for training shorter distance horses but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey with this lad, I bought him as a yearling and we were patient. Whatever he does in the first six months of the year is always going to be a bonus. He’s a big angular horse, unfurnished, and he’s very exciting going forward. He was very green but credit to James he was in front at the line. He gave him a nice education down the back and just wheeled out for a clear run up the straight. It all went well. There should be plenty more. He’s a mile-two, and could even be a mile-and-a-half horse in the future as he furnishes. He’s just good and it’s a nice start here today. He’s in the Classic here. Eddie Scally thankfully text me a couple of days before it closed and I said this lad was working well and we’d put him in it, so we might come back here.
