Fri, 31st Jul, 2026  It's lovely when you have one that's set up for it,. . I told the owner two months ago that I thought he was a Galway horse. He just scraped in at the bottom of the weights. There is a big long hill up there and you need to be able to stay and have the heart for it. . We put cheekpieces on him today, just to liven him up. At Fairyhouse the last day, he kind of half went to sleep and didn't know what he was doing. . The hardest part is to keep it rolling (good run of form). The wheels could come off the bus very easily. . We seem to have a nice team of horses and we have great staff. We don't have many new owners, lads have been with me for years. I wouldn't mind if someone came with a cheque book! Michael Mulvany
