the horse seemed to enjoy the jockey and the jockey seemed to enjoy the horse!. I was saying to Paul (Carberry) to hold off on coming back so soon on the fast ground but you can't tell a Carberry what to do!. we were half thinking of bringing him (Thomond) to the Sales but he had been promising to win one and worked very well the other day. He loves fast ground, stays well too and I might enter him for a three miles handicap chase here on Saturday.
Noel Meade
We thought stamina was his forte. We went to Wexford and made the running but he just faded,. Looking back on his run in the north over two miles it was a better run so we decided to come back here. He's had a bit of a problem with his palate and that's why we are running on fast ground. Davy said the ground was plenty quick enough for him.
