Downpatrick Fri, 18th Sep, 2026  Lygon Lad It was a dramatic start, but he was in a lovely position. Turning for home, Jack obviously picked off the horse (Baila Conmigo) that was leading him up the hill. We knew he would stay really well. He had a bit of time off, but he has built on every run so far this season and it is lovely to see him do that because he deserved it. Kilbeggan Thu, 3rd Sep, 2026  Combs On ratings it was his race to lose,. He's been disappointing but everything went right today. He jumped well and did things right. He should go back into handicaps after that. He could be one for something like the Lartigue Hurdle (at Listowel).

Kilbeggan Thu, 3rd Sep, 2026  First Ascent .He won well, cheekpieces helped him today,. It was good to get a winner in those colours. My first ever winner as a trainer was in those colours, Arresting, many moons ago. It was in Perth in 2006. Martin and Alan Egan are with me a long time, so it's brilliant.
