Navajo Point  He is an improving horse. It's well documented that I said he fractured his pelvis there 18 months ago. We took our time with him,. Paddy said he had a job to pull him up. He probably wants further and he'll be a nice horse next year. More importantly, he's our own so we have a few pound!. Paddy is flying, he knows the horse. You just have to keep niggling away on him. We'll tip away with him on soft ground and he'll tell us when to stop. |

Navajo Point This horse’s mother (Dashing Diamond) was slow, but tough and won a race for us. Navajo Point has got a bit more about him and while he probably wants 1m2f, we said we'd come down and take our chances, although we thought there’d be a bit more of a cut in the ground. He fractured his pelvis in Roscommon last year and he was off for ages. He was probably one of the last of our Flat horses to come back in this year, so it’s been patience, patience, patience. Paddy also said that he's still learning. |
