Oro Blanco he was looking at everything but was always doing enough and is progressive. He’s run over a mile, and seven furlongs, but he’s probably not a six-furlong horse so could step up in trip again. He’s a big horse for a Havana Grey and hopefully can improve again. |

Echo Inferno Delighted with that. He was a big, weak horse last year and, we knew he's step forward from his seasonal debut. He absolutely loved that ground and loved the step up in trip. I think he's a horse that could be a really nice stayer in the making and, even whatever he does this year, is going to be a bonus for when he even strengthens up a bit more next year. I think he could definitely be up to a stakes horse. |

Apollo's Comet She had a lovely run the first day. She didn't get the clearest of gaps at the bottom of the home straight in Fairyhouse. I think she would have been a lot closer. In turn, she didn't get a hard race that day. This looked a nice opportunity. It's not many Mehmas' get into these auction races, so it just looked a nice opportunity for her and, she just got there and did enough. She is a lovely filly for next year. We'll give her a bit of time and bring her back maybe the end of July. |

Cromac Quay Cromac Quay never ran last year, as we gave her the time and she bumped into two quite good fillies, I think, on her first two runs. The last day, when she got beaten by Jim Bolger’s filly (Sparan Nua), she pulled off a shoe so there was an excuse as to why she kept going up and down in the last furlong. Today she showed she had the acceleration and it's nice to have one like her. She did that well. She's in the Brownstown Stakes (Listed) here, so she'll probably go there next and I also put her in the Group 2 at the Curragh on Oaks day. |

Pisiffik Ginger she did that great. I was a little bit worried about the ground but when he (Foley) got her out onto the better ground on this side of the straight, he said she picked up well. She stayed well. |

Oro Blanco We’re delighted with him. Ciaran O’Toole picked him up at the Goffs Classic Sale last year. We bided our time with him, gave him plenty of time, and fair play to the lads. He was just a big, weak, horse last year. He’s progressed from each run. He’s a nice progressive horse. We’ll see where we go from here. |

Confused He was good, he had a good run the last day and we thought he had come forward,. Shane was just waiting, he wanted to go up the inside. I was a bit worried about the ground beforehand but I rang Shane on my way down here, after the first race, and he said ‘no, it’s grand, if he can’t go on that he can’t go on anything’. He quickened up well. It’s only his second run and he’s still very green. I think it was a solid maiden. He said he got that well and he’ll end up going a mile-and-a-half, despite being by Calyx. I don’t think he’d go on very soft ground. It’s nice to get his head in front, it’ll keep the (Alpha Racing) syndicate happy as they all have expectations unfortunately now!. He’s not man enough for a handicap yet so we’ll see where we go now. |

Thrifty Of Digby She’s some tough, brave, filly. She wasn’t going to get beaten, she kept on putting her head down. They took her on early on as well. She really is great. She only got it on the nod and for once it’s gone the right way for me!. She’s actually in the online sale, but we might keep her now. She loves Roscommon and here, and she goes from seven furlongs to a mile-and-a-quarter. There might be another day in her but she’s getting her rating up now. |

Fortuity She had a nice first run. Shane was nice and positive on her, and I’d say that was important. When she got to the front, she was game. She has a nice pedigree, she’s a half-sister to Phoenix Of Spain. She’s shown a level of ability and it was important to get her to win. Her owner Michael Drapac was actually over from Australia at the weekend and he had Punica Granatum beaten a short-head at the Curragh, so it’s nice to get her to win. We’ll regroup and see what the handicapper does. She’s improved off her first run, and maybe there is a little bit more in there. Richie Galway, representing |
