Formscan By Tom Weekes - DINARD ROSE might be able to reverse Galway placings with Very Excellent and win today. DINARD ROSE, a three-time flat winner over staying trips, was making her hurdles debut in that Galway maiden and suffered significant interference at the second last flight. She finished well and while beaten 3.5L by Very Excellent, she might be able to reverse that form under identical conditions today. Very Excellent is himself a capable and progressive type and while he had a clear run around Galway, he did nonetheless run well to the line suggesting there may not be much between the pair of horses today. Galway winner Sacchoandvanzetti franked the form by winning subsequently at Punchestown where he beat Tremwedge into third. Tremwedge met Sacchoandvanzetti on the same terms as DINARD ROSE and Very Excellent did at Galway and while Tremwedge was beaten 5.25L at Punchestown, he is open to more improvement and is another big contender here. Kid Curry has yet to produce anything exciting while Ozone is well enough held by Tremwedge on Punchestown form.
