Gordon Elliott quotes on Walkabout (IRE)

He kind of threw away a few races with his jumping, but he jumped well today,. We might have to hold him up a bit longer as he seems to have just one run and then he flattens out. It mightn't have been the greatest race in the world but it was a good pot and it's nice to win it. Jack is riding well and the horse might go to Perth now for a novice hurdle.

C Byrnes quotes on Denham Sound (GB)

The man (Davy Russell) is on fire and told me what he was going to do! . He told me he was going to ride her third or fourth the whole way, there'd be no messing as she is not over-genuine but he made up her mind for her. She'll keep going now and the step up in trip and cheekpieces probably helped too. She didn't want to know at Ballinrobe the last day. I bought her to sell her but couldn't sell her, and she runs in our family syndicate - everything is for sale, even now!

V T O'Brien quotes on From Eden (USA)

We may try him in a flat race around a mile and two furlongs. He has a bit of flat form. I thought he was beaten and I was delighted with the way he battled back so well and ran all the way to the line. His jumping has improved and is a lot quicker. We'll keep him going over the summer in handicaps. It's the owner Jackie Kenny's first winner. He's from Oranmore, and has been involved with horses for about 12 years. It's great that he has finally got a winner.

Denis Gerard Hogan quotes on The Irregular (IRE)

He was due that after I didn't get the best of runs around at Thurles. He was a bit green and I didn't give him the best of rides. It's good to make amends today for the lads Ray Treacy and Shaun Staplehurst, who are local but based in England. Ray has a good few horses with me and is a good supporter. He'll turn out somewhere over Christmas. He is what he is but is only a four-year-old and is big and raw. Fences will be his job eventually.

A L T Moore quotes on Whats The Plot (IRE)

He should have won here the last day. He got stuck in. I would have been disappointed had he been beat today,. He did it nicely and he'll mix it during the summer. He is a grand horse. I've minded him over the last two seasons. I think he has got a nice future. He is a half-brother to a horse who was fifth in the Derby last year (Humphrey Bogart). His grand dam was the grand dam of last year's Derby winner, so it's good blood. His dam is by Kahyasi and there is a lot of Kahyasi about him. Hopefully he can go on from here now, he hasn't been over raced. He should give somebody a bit of fun if I can find an owner for him.
