He lost his unbeaten record on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse last month but it was still a decent run to chase home Jetz in a strong contest. This looks a slightly easier task now for the three-time bumper winner. His main danger may come from another Gigginstown gelding in Game Of War, who ran a promising race on his hurdling debut when fourth behind the ill-fated Fayonagh at Fairyhouse in October. Rathcannon looked a nice prospect when taking his bumper at Cork in Junly 2016. He ran no race when returning from an absence at Punchestown last April but may be one to keep an eye on here on his hurdling debut.
