FormscanBy Michael Graham - FOXTROT LIV was pipped by the narrowest margin over course and distance last month and could go one better. There was plenty of promise in her debut effort when fourth at 40/1 in Naas and she built on that when just foiled last month. She was very well punted that day and showed a good attitude to battle back when headed in the final 100 yards. Porterinthejungle finished seventh behind Foxtrot Liv but outran her 80/1 odds. Her best work was done in the latter stages and she could be in the hunt for prize money, at a price, on her second start. The main threat looks to be Syrena, though. She has improved on each of her three runs. She lost out by a neck in Leopardstown and should be winning sooner rather than later. Frosty Beach was very popular with punters who sent her off favourite for her first start in Bellewstown. She could make no impression on the principals in third, beaten eight lengths, but is likely to be much closer today with that experience banked. However, Syrena was seven and a half lengths in front of her in second. Ger Lyons starts Heliac out for Khalid Abdullah and she is well worth a market check. Similar market comments apply to Jim Bolger's Vocalised filly Suaimhneach on debut.
