Joseph O'Brien said of him, in an Irish Field stable tour that appeared in the January 13th edition: "He was unlucky to bump into a nice horse (Off You Go) at Limerick and he'll go for a confined novice hurdle the next day. Soft ground is important to him and two and a half miles should be fine for him and he might even stay a bit further." In receipt of plenty of weight, Guided By You is a definite danger, and Noel Meade commented on him, also in 'The Field,' last weekend: "He stays really well and he handled bad ground when he won his maiden hurdle at Cork. I think he'll handle better ground as well. He got a mark of 109 after he won and he'll run in a handicap hurdle in the next few weeks." It's difficult to rule any of them out, though Gun Digger would look to be the other main player.

Penalties - Performances before 25th January for every 1lb above the rating of 110 1lb extra; On or after 25th January for each hurdle race won 4lb extra; Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 120 or less.
