FormscanBy Alan Magee - Ger Lyons has enjoyed a really good start to 2017 with at least one winner at all three meetings here so far this year, and Rock In Peace initiated a treble for the yard when making all over seven furlongs at the start of the month. The Kodiac gelding is Lyons’ only runner on this card but he previously appeared to find a mile a bit too far. Colin Keane is unlikely to get a soft lead either with Time Constraints also in the line-up. The latter has forced the pace on his latest two outings, and made all in a maiden over this trip earlier in the month. However it’s possible the pair could set it up for something off the pace, and SWEETASEVER gets plenty of weight here with Ana O’Brien claiming 5lb. She’s proven over the trip and hasn’t enjoyed the clearest of runs on a couple of occasions including when running on this surface for the first time a fortnight ago. That outing was also coming off a four-month break, so she may improve a little. George Boole is progressing with racing and stayed on well when stepped up to a mile last time. David Marnane’s string have been showing signs of an upturn in fortune recently, and Boy Charlton shaped with some promise on his latest start behind Rock In Peace.
