The point-to-point winner ran a fine race over an inadequate trip on his racecourse debut over fences at Navan last month. He went down by just three parts of a length to Aniable Fly there, on what was his first start since Cheltenham in March. He can be expected to come on plenty for that performance, and the step up in trip here to two mile five will play to his strengths. Acapella Bourgeois disappointingly fell at the first on his chasing debut at Naas, and if getting his jumping together he should give a good account of himself. A Genie In Abottle looks a real stayer and this trip of two mile five is probably on the short side for him. Having said that he should still be involved toward the business end here. Blackmail and Thecraicisninety will probably come into their own in handicaps, Childrens List is likely to need the run, while Moonshine Lad and Taglietelle need to improve if they are to feature here.
