A top-notcher in his prime he may have been but it'd be a tall order to expect him to come out and win a race like this on his return to the fray. Andrew Lynch and Keith Donoghue are the jockeys we associate with Flemenstar but Barry Cash takes the reins for the first time now. Hopefully the twelve-year-old can show some of the old sparkle. BALL D'ARC did the business at Naas on the Sunday before Cheltenham where he beat the others in the 'Gigginstown race.' The son of Network is in the form of his life at present and the course and distance scorer is the one that appeals most. He's still a novice but he’s certainly not lacking in experience. Ball D'Arc's defeat of Tully East at Navan is February is looking good now. On official ratings Ballycasey should be beating the selection. I'd prefer to be with the young progressive selection though.
