There was no disgrace when the Presenting gelding could find no extra up the hill behind Willoughby Court, and dropping back in trip here should suit Gordon Elliott's runner. Avenir D'Une Vie is one of a number of interesting types in the line-up. He impressed on his initial outing for Henry de Bromhead, having come from Willie Mullins, at this venue back in November. The grey reportedly had a little setback which saw him miss a prep run and then bypass Cheltenham. BLEU BERRY gets the nod though. He was good, at this track as well, a couple of runs back, and then last time at Naas he out-battled Outspoken (in the line-up again). Ruby Walsh's presence on the Special Kaldoun gelding, over the other Mullins runners, could be significant. Bleu Berry pulled it out well after a slight mistake at the last threatened to derail his bid for glory at Naas.
