Out of top racemare Solerina, she has yet to show any of her mother’s brilliance but being a five year old, is open to plenty more improvement and is again helped by her rider’s 7lbs claim. Race conditions suit Contingency quite well and while she looked potentially smart in winning on hurdles debut at Tramore, does lack experience today. She won very easily at Tramore and while that form is nothing special, should again appreciate today’s same trip and is clearly open to improvement. Denham Sound is a little quirky and while reasonably talented, has plenty weight and might struggle to win while The Birdie Crowe may also struggle to win but today’s rider now takes off 7lbs. Nellie Pledge and High Nellie are each capable mares but also needs to show more to win.
