FormscanBy Michael Graham - Joseph O'Brien's KALOPSIA holds solid credentials. She won a bumper at this track in July last year for Aidan O'Brien before following up in a mares' bumper at Wexford. She then took sixth in a Listed bumper at Navan. Her three subsequent spins in maiden hurdles haven't been impressive but she did finish second at Roscommon back in July. This race doesn't have a lot of depth to it and she should enjoy returning to Ballybrit on drying ground. Lettre De Cachet hasn't been out since May 2015, however, she was very highly tried over hurdles. This former flat winner actually started her jumping career in the Grade One spring juvenile hurdle at Leopardstown in February 2015. She took fifth there before coming home runner-up in a Grade Two. A fifth and a ninth were then secured in Grade Three and Grade One company respectively. The long lay-off has to be a concern from a betting perspective but if she is strong in the market the hint should be taken. Noel Meade's yard is in flying form.
