The David Marnane-trained gelding won off this mark at Dundalk last winter, and has indicated a third career win could be in the offing after a couple of decent efforts recently under Donagh O’Connor. There were positives in the latest effort of Bridal Path at the Curragh on Sunday, and she could well progress as that was her first outing in over three months. Gowran Park has proved a happy hunting ground for Charles O’Brien this year, and Zorba The Greek provided one of his three wins here when getting up close home on fast ground over course and distance in May. Windsor Beach and Jaqen H’ghar both came home well behind the front-running Udogo at Leopardstown earlier this month. Jaqen H’ghar caught the eye on his belated seasonal reappearance in that ten-furlong event, and together with Little Prairie, who was an encouraging third over course and distance last time, is one for the shortlist.
