FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - It wouldn't surprise to see Sire Du Berlais run a huge race starting off for Gordon Elliott, but he’d have to be really good to actually win. Elliott said of the Poliglote gelding in a Racing Post stable tour on October 19th: "Another nice recruit from France. He has been doing everything very nicely at home and is ready to be unleashed soon." Maybe it hasn't been straightforward for him since, and it'll be interesting to see how he goes in the betting. Whilst Noel Meade and Denis Hogan must depend on Joey Sasa and Jack The Wire respectively, Willie Mullins, the aforementioned Elliott, and Henry de Bromhead all launch stronger numerical bids. In the case of Mullins it's a three pronged attack, and Ruby Walsh prefers LET'S DANCE to Montalbano (Danny Mullins) of the Susannah Ricci-owned pair. Paul Townend meanwhile is on the Supreme Horse Racing Club's Kemboy. "Let's Dance is probably best in at the weights and won very well in Leopardstown at Christmas. She's a second-season novice, which is big help and she could be hard to beat," said Mullins' son Patrick. Jack Kennedy sports the Gigginstown House Stud colours on Blood Crazed Tiger. Davy Russell will do likewise on Henry de Bromhead's Peace News. Both these runners are equipped with first-time tongue-straps. De Bromhead runs Monalee under David Mullins as well. A point-to-point winner for Kevin O'Sullivan, Monalee has excellent form and is a lovely prospect.
