He was second on his debut in a point-to-point (for Colin Motherway) at Dawstown last May before trouncing his ten rivals in a bumper at Market Rasen last July. The Stowaway gelding then coped well with more demanding opposition when beating Electric Concorde (twice successful over hurdles since) at Killarney in August 2016. Off a 249 day the five-year-old was certainly up against it in the Grade 1 Racing Post Champion I.N.H. Flat Race at the Punchestown festival. However he acquitted himself very well when around sixteen lengths off Fayonagh in fourth. He had Someday, Carter McKay and Dell Oro behind that day, and it goes without saying that's excellent form. Hopefully he'll hurdle well now at the first time of asking under David Mullins.
