FormscanBy Michael Graham - Mayaadeen has been beaten at odds of 8/13 on both starts so is hard to put faith in him even though he ought to be well up to winning a maiden. The bookmakers have him at 4/5 which doesn't appeal. Jim Bolger's TAKE A NAP was a place and two and a half lengths ahead of Mayaadeen in second at Gowran Park and could confirm the form again. He has been priced at 9/4 at the time of writing which appears better value. This isn't a race to be getting heavily involved in, though, as Take A Nap didn't perform as well on his next start when fifth at Gowran Park, albeit after suffering a less than clear route. With a mark of 77 he could be vulnerable. There may be improvement to come from Freiheit who has been fourth on both of her starts.
