Gordon Elliott said of him in a Racing Post stable tour yesterday: "I think he has a very big engine and hopefully his luck will change this season as he's come down at the last flight when looking as though he was about to win a big handicap hurdle in each of the past two seasons. It's there for everyone to see how much ability he has. He stays over hurdles." Several have chances and Barry Connell commented on Tully East in last Saturday's Irish Field: "He won the good novice handicap chase at Cheltenham last season and he'll go back there for the good handicap chase at the Open Meeting in November. He has done well over the summer and he is a course and distance winner over there. We'll see how he gets on first before we decide where he'll go after that. He should get in with a nice weight on his back as you tend to get some highly rated horses at the top of the weights. He seems to be in good form and we're looking forward to running him."
