That race was just over two weeks ago and, if it hasn't left a mark, he ought to go close on a less taxing track. Garrai Phaidin has been runner-up in his last three handicap chases and wasn't beaten far in any of them. Of course he is climbing the weights but Paddy Kennedy claims 3lbs, the trip and ground are fine and he has been given a break since June so should be fresh. There is plenty in his favour. Presenting Julio won a handicap chase over an extended two miles five here in April, so clearly enjoys the challenges posed by this venue. He has two handicap hurdle wins over the summer and is interesting off a much lower chasing mark.
