Soft To Heavy (Soft In Places)

Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - It's unlikely you'd find too many with a dogmatic view of this event but the ratings say DAYS HOTEL could edge it and I tend to agree. He still had a squeak when an error at the third last (suffered an overreach) ended his hopes in the Kinloch Brae at Thurles last time. The half-brother to Travino was unbeaten over fences before that and this trip could well suit him better than many of his rivals. Days Hotel holds Realt Dubh on form from the Hilly Way at Cork in December. Of course this is a stiff two miles and you only have to look at last year's winner, Seabass, essentially a staying horse, to have that point emphasised. However, surely Days Hotel should have the legs on the likes of Roi Du Mee and Call The Police at the business end whilst Kylebeg Krystle would be a shock winner.
