Ruby Walsh on Hargam, Triumph Hurdle, March 13th 1.30pm

This looks a very open contest and his stablemate Peace or Co looks a strong favourite at 5/2. But I think his stable mate Hargam at 13/2 will put it up to him. He travels well in his race and jumps well so there's no issues there. He had the speed to win Musselburgh and the stamina to win at Cheltenham and that's a deadly combination in a race like this.

Charlie Austin on Silviniaco Conti, Gold Cup, March 13th 3.20pm

I'd really like Silviniaco Conti at 4/1 to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup, and if he can reproduce his King George winning run then he'll take all the beating. Or get him at an exclusive enhanced price of 16/1 for new customers. There are some concerns though. Will he handle the course and the hill? Kempton is a very flat track in comparison. Can he put in a faultless jumping performance? The proof will be in the pudding on Friday but I'm hopeful. After Djakadam won the Thyestes Chase at Gowran Park in January I tweeted that, although it was a good performance, he'd never get anywhere near Silviniaco Conti. The dynamic of the Gold Cup has changed slightly since then, and Rich Ricci was very sweet on the chances of Djakadam at Paddy Power's Cheltenham Preview Night in London. Djakadam is 8/1 for the Gold Cup. There are plenty of other challengers for the crown as well. Nicky Henderson is desperate for the ground to stay dry for 2013 champ Bobs Worth (18/1), and he was my pick last year but finished fifth. On His Own at 33/1 ran a huge race 12 months ago to finish second, and who says Lord Windermere, who's priced at 20/1, can't reproduce last year's effort. It's got the makings of a great race but I'm edging towards Conti still.

Rich Ricci on Djakadam, Gold Cup, March 13th 3.20pm

I love this horse, I really do. I've been unusually unabashed in my admiration for him. I think this horse has huge potential. He was an ok hurdler, but he has great form and I was disappointed last year when he fell in the JLT. I knew when I saw him in the Hennessey and again in the following race that he was fat. So I really can't wait to see what he does when he's fit. My only concern for him is that he is six years old. I know Longrun did it at six, but we're a bit young, a bit inexperienced. But! I think he's jumping will hold up, he'll stay the trip so he really has a great chance. Djakadam ridden by Ruby Walsh is 8/1 to take home the Gold cup for Willie Mullins.
