Willie Mullins brought up a double at the fourth stage of the Galway Festival, adding to Laviniad s win in the earlier Listed Corrib Fillies Stakes as Prince D'Aubrelle landed the concluding Guinness West Indies Porter INH Flat Race under Patrick.

The French-bred went one better after a couple of second placings, leading over two furlongs out after racing pretty keenly, going on to beat the marginal favourite, Lieutenant by four and a half lengths.

"He improved and settled much better today. He has plenty of pace and could go for a winners bumper at Listowel, or go hurdling next," reported Willie.

Regarding Galway Hurdle runner-up Max Dynamite Mullins said: "He could go for the Lonsdale Cup at York whilst Wicklow Brave could run in the Ebor.

"We'll keep Max Dynamite s hurdle mark for when it's needed and he could also be a Melbourne Cup type horse."

He added: "I've never trained five winners at the Festival here before but I do remember being leading jockey one year.

"I won it with a double on the last day but one of the top professional jockeys, Tom Morgan, had stayed on late to collect the prize. I beat him with my bumper winner and I'd say he wasn't very happy going home!"
