Alanza swooped late to land the spoils in the Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary this evening.
Johnny Murtagh completed a treble on the night in good style as he produced the Aga Khan filly with a late surge to grab victory in the Listed contest.
John Oxx 's charge settled towards the rear early on before switching out and making up ground a furlong-and-a-half from home.
She really started motoring inside the final furlong and got her head in front 50 yards from the line for a three-parts-of-a-length success.
Anam Alta, who had wore down game front-runner Claiomh Solais inside the final furlong, was second.
"She just got there and came from a long way back," said Oxx afterwards.
"She nearly won twice and her two early runs taught her to settle. Seven-and-a-half to nine furlongs might be her trip.
"She's not in the Matron and it might be a bit much to supplement her. It's good now that she's won two Listed races."
Murtagh had also teamed up with Oxx to take the preceding maiden with Buffalo Billy while Ultra Cool had kicked off his treble in the Glenvale Stud Handicap.
