Racing has been given the go ahead at Punchestown today with another five race card after the chase course was again found to be unfit for racing due to waterlogging.

The Avon Ri-sponsored La Touche Cup will take place on the cross country track.

However the Grade 1 Ryanair Novice Chase and the Coleman Tunelling Ireland, UK & Africa Handicap Chase have been cancelled.

The Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle featuring a clash between Quevega and Voler La Vedette is the highlight this afternoon, with the first race now getting underway at 4.50pm.

The going is heavy with fresh ground available today.
